Preceptor-faculty members provide a vital service to students within the college by helping students make the transition from classroom knowledge to worksite experience.
Completing CPE Evaluations for Credit
To complete CPE credit, scroll down on this page and look for the grey boxes that list the sessions with CPE credit. Click on each session that you attended, and you will see the "Complete Evaluation" link. Complete each evaluation for each session you attended, and your credits will be sent to your NABP eProfle you set up when you registered. Please allow 2/3 business days for your credits to appear.
Who Should Register
This event is open ONLY to pharmacists who currently serve as, or are currently applying to become, UT Austin College of Pharmacy preceptor-faculty, and UT affiliated PGY1 & PGY2 residents.
NON-UT Austin Preceptors:
If you are not a UT Austin preceptor or applying to become a UT Austin preceptor you are not eligible to attend this event. Non-UT Austin preceptors who attend the conference will be charged a conference registration fee of $500, and will not be eligible for CPE credit, regardless of attendance. If you are registering as a pharmacist who is applying to become a UT Austin preceptor, but fail to complete the application -you will be responsible for paying the full conference registration fee of $500 plus all hotel room fees, and any CPE credit earned will be removed from your NABP eProfile as the content will not have been applicable for you.

Hotel Reservations & Information

Requirements for CE Credit

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This two-day activity is approved for 0.625 CEUs (6.25 contact hours) of continuing education credit (Note: "New Preceptor Orientation" is an optional session worth 1.0 contact hour). In order to receive 6.5 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must attend/participate in all sessions of the program, return their completed Record of Attendance Form at the conclusion of the program, and return to this website to complete the online evaluation. |
